The Pure Walnut Board starts as a single, solid slab of American Black Walnut — no glued pieces, no laminated strips, no hidden seams. This matters more than you might think: glue lines can fail over time, harbor bacteria, and with standard wood glues, introduce chemicals into the surface where your food sits. Our boards have none of that. One piece of wood, cleanly finished, full stop.
